We are holding a two day festival in Rutherglen on the 25th and 26th March, our first festival since G-RAF 2019. This festival is being organised jointly by The Rotary Club of Rutherglen and CAMRA Glasgow and West of Scotland branch. To minimise Covid risk and avoid overcrowding, a ticket will entitle you to a specific three hour session at the festival. There will be 8 sessions on each day, the first session starting at noon and the last at 7:00pm, with a maximum of 30 people allowed entry for each session. The festival will feature a total of 28 cask and KeyKeg beers. We cannot guarantee that all beers will be available at the time of your visit. Due to size limitations we will not be able to provide food; you will be welcome to bring your own food (within reason).
The festival will be held at Number 18 Venue, 18 Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen G73 1DL, at the junction of Farmeloan Road and King Street. The venue is adjacent to a number of bus routes, including the numbers 18, 46, 65 and 90 which all travel along Farmeloan Road. Please note that although the venue is approximately a five minute walk from Rutherglen railway station, at the end of February, Network Rail announced that there will be no train services to Rutherglen between 13th March and 8th May due to engineering works. Scotrail have provided a webpage detailing alternative travel arrangements including a replacement bus service operating with a stop on Farmeloan Road near the railway station.
Entrance tickets are £5 for a three hour session (£3 for CAMRA members). Tickets will be sold at the door when there is space available but, in view of the limited numbers at this festival, we strongly recommend you purchase tickets in advance. Click on the ‘Buy Now’ box below to purchase advance tickets. These cost £20 and give you guaranteed entry to a session and £15 of beer tokens (£17 for CAMRA members).
