Welcome to the home page of the Glasgow Real Ale Festival (G-RAF) run by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale. We are currently updating the appearance of this website and, while this update is being completed, some of the links may not work as expected. If you notice any broken links then could you please email webmaster@g-raf.camra.org.uk to let us know.
Due to various events being held in Glasgow in June and July, and some football tournament happening elsewhere, the 2026 Festival has been moved to the 6th to 8th August and will once again be held at The Briggait, near the River Clyde to the south of the city’s Merchant City area.
We are currently looking at the beer selection and the plan is that the number of real ales, ciders and foreign beers, including a selection of gluten free and vegan friendly beers, will be similar to the 2025 festival. We are also finalising food and other offerings from our festival partners, more details to follow.
Our charity partner this year is once again the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, details of which can be found by selecting the ‘Festival Charity‘ link on the menu. If you wish to support the charity then this year we have a festival Just Giving page where you are able to make a donation.
The festival is a ticketed event and you can either buy an advance ticket, a perfect gift for the beer lover in your life, or you can simply turn up and pay at the door. Details of festival tickets can be found at the ‘Tickets‘ link on the menu. If you head to our Facebook and Instagram pages you will find various announcements and more information about the festival.
Please remember that the Glasgow Real Ale Festival is organised and staffed entirely by volunteers. If you wish to become involved then click on the ‘Volunteering‘ link on the menu where you can find out more about volunteering and how to volunteer.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and customers without whom we would not have been able to hold previous Glasgow Real Ale Festivals, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to G-RAF 2026.
Below are some photos from the last few festivals. More photographs can be viewed by selecting a festival year under the ‘Photo Galleries’ heading in the main menu.
