The official page of the Glasgow Real Ale Festival (G-RAF), organised by the Glasgow & West of Scotland branch of CAMRA

Welcome to the home page of the Glasgow Real Ale Festival (G-RAF) run by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of CAMRA. The 2024 Festival will be held from the 6th to 8th June at The Briggait, near the River Clyde to the south of the city’s Merchant City area.

G-RAF 2024 will be run along the same lines as the 2023 festival with over 120 different real ales, ciders and foreign beers on offer, including a selection of gluten free and vegan friendly beers. We also hope to have mead from The Rookery and a gin, rum and wine bar. We are now contacting breweries to finalise the list of beers. As the orders are placed the various drinks will be added to our ‘Beer List’, which is available in the ‘News’ menu above. We are currently talking to food vendors and we will update this page once they are confirmed. Our charity this year is the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, a registered Scottish charity that provides palliative care and support for people living in South Glasgow and East Renfrewshire. Have a look at the ‘Festival Charity’ item in the ‘About’ menu above.

The festival will be open from 3:30pm until 10:00pm on Thursday, 6th June, 12:00pm to 10:00pm on Friday, 7th June and 12:00pm to 9:30pm on Saturday, 8th June. Tickets, costing £8.00, will be available at the door. You can buy advance tickets by using the link at the top of this page or by going to our TCKTY website. Advance tickets cost £18.00 and include £10.00 of beer tokens. Special rates are available for CAMRA members.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and customers without whom we would not have been able to hold the Glasgow Real Ale Festival in 2023, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to G-RAF 2024.

We would like to thank Daniel Stears for his outstanding work in capturing the atmosphere of the festival back in 2022, as can be seen in the photographs below. Daniel’s website, with many more of his photographs, can be viewed at
