Venue

The Glasgow Real Ale Festival is held at The Briggait, a wonderful Grade A listed building in Glasgow’s Merchant City area. Originally built in 1873 the Briggait served as the city’s fish market for over a hundred years before undergoing renovations that repurposed it as a creative space for artists and cultural organisations.

It is ideally placed as the G-RAF venue due to its central location and transport links. Glasgow Central and Queen St stations are a 10 minute walk from the venue. The nearest Subway station is St Enoch’s, 5 minutes from the Briggait.
