Glasgow Real Ale Festival (G-RAF) is a beer festival organised and run by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of CAMRA.
G-RAF, in it’s current form, was first held in The Briggait, historic site of Glasgow’s old fish market, in 2014 and has been held there ever since. That festival came almost twenty years after a prior incarnation as the Glasgow Ale Festival which had last been held in the Arches in 1995.
G-RAF was held annually in June until the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic forced it’s cancellation in 2020 and 2021. G-RAF returned in 2022, held once again at The Briggait between the 16th and 18th of June, and featured over 150 beers and ciders along with a gin bar, a mead bar, a selection of wine and food from Babu Kitchen and The Cafe at Kilcreggan. Our cask bars featured a selection of beers from all over the UK and our foreign and KeyKeg bar featured beers from all over the UK and from as far afield as Australia, Finland and Brazil.

CAMRA members wishing to volunteer to work at future G-RAF festivals are able do so by filling in our staffing form. Volunteering usually opens in March, however if volunteering is not yet open the form will allow you to request a notification when you acn volunteer.
